March 15 – Clothing Month – Sheer white sweater

Mar 15

Today I’m giving away this sheer sweater.  It’s one of those garments you see tied around the shoulders of a windblown model walking down the beach with her paints rolled up to avoid the surf and a super cute, fit, laughing man with good hair at her side.  I never wore it.  I was really after the walk on the beach, not the sweater.  The colour looks a little funny in the picture, but it’s pristine, white, never been worn, in great shape. It’s in the New Circles box.

Why oh why, after 30 years in advertising, do I continue to fall for the illusion?

About todayigaveaway

I'm trying to make more space in my life so I'm getting rid of stuff. All the things that I've been hanging on to that might have some utility for someone else, if no longer for me. I'm going to try to give something away every day.

Personally, I think you should keep this sweater. Great layered over a cami or little tank top, with jeans or linen pants. And if I may over step my boundaries for just one moment, me thinks you are getting rid of too many never-worn, never-used items.

  2. Fransi, You’re a riot. You are not overstepping anything! I’m getting rid of things that have sat in my closet for at least a couple of years. My problem is I buy the wrong things. I don’t wear camisoles. In fact tomorrow’s post is about reject camisoles!
